Hello everyone! I'm new here and also a rather new fan of Quo.
I've heard most of Quo's songs, and I must admit that Andy writes the coolest songs. I can also go as far and say that he hasn't written any "bad song"!
What do you think of Andy? Good or bad? Would be cool to hear what other fans has to say about him.

Andy is surely the most talented musician in the band. The fact is that I don't remember a bad song written by him, he ie absolutely fantastic. One of his latest efforts "Green" in the HT album is one of the coolest songs Quo ever recorded in the studio! Also try his solo albums especially "Gone to my head" and "Come back romance, all is forgiven"..

Yea, I totally agree on that. Green is one of my favourites on HT. And "I don't Remember anymore" is also a great great song.
I happen to have "Gone to my head" great record but some lyrics I don't get. Wonder why he don't sings lead on a Quo album?
Hope SQ will do Green on their upcoming tour in Europe.

I totally agree with you stufflarsson. Besides Andy has a wonderful voice and I like him very much when I hear his performance of "Long Legged Linda" in the Reading Festival cd. His singing there is a little bit punky although it was recorded in 1973! Quo made the first step with Rhino to sing the lead vocals on the Riffs album, why don't they give a chance to Andy? P.S. Calling the shots can't be considered as a Quo song that Andy makes the lead vocals because this recording still remains almost unofficial. Here we are talking about Andy to take the lead vocals in a brand new Quo song that will be released in a full Quo LP!!!
